in hands-on sustainability projects, and engage in CXO talks, industry practicums,
SDG-focused workshops, and career counselling sessions. The day blends business
learning
with real-world sustainability exposure.
Can applicants tailor their Masters’ Union SBM programme?

PGP SBM are the same. For detailed information on the scholarship options, please refer to

graduate.

Europe, Singapore)
-
Strong pathways into careers in ESG, climate finance,
clean-tech, impact consulting, and sustainable operations
Is SBM suitable for students without an environment or business
background?

sustainability, business, climate science, and analytics. Students from any academic
background can excel with support from faculty, mentors, and hands-on learning
opportunities.

academic and professional backgrounds—business, engineering, humanities, environmental
science, finance and more.
If I am completing my undergraduate studies, is SBM right for me?

12-month SBM programme.
While prior work experience is helpful, it is not mandatory, and applicants who have
completed or are completing their undergraduate degree are fully eligible.
What's the minimum qualifying GPA?
Masters’ Union does not have a minimum GPA
requirement as the GPA system is not a global grading methodology. We focus on the courses
students have taken, grades received and overall academic performance.
Is there an age limit for entry?
No, there is no
age limit for the SBM
programme.
Anyone who has completed their undergraduate degree — whether a fresher or a working
professional — is eligible to apply. If you have significant work experience and want
clarity on fit, you can reach out to the admissions team at
admissions@mastersunion.org
for
personalised guidance.
Is there an age limit for entry?
There is no age limit for entry. However,
the programme is most suitable for those who are at an early stage in their careers. If
students have more work experience, we encourage them to get in touch with the admissions
team at
admissions@mastersunion.org , who will
evaluate their profile and advise them accordingly.
If applicants don’t have a business background, will it affect my
chances of admission?
Not at all. The SBM programme welcomes
applicants from all academic fields — engineering, arts, law, social sciences,
design,
medicine, and more. What matters most is your interest in
sustainability, your leadership
potential, and your overall academic or project
performance. A non-business background will
not disadvantage your application.
If an applicant doesn’t have an undergraduate degree, can they still
be considered for admission?
Yes! While the vast majority of our
participants have undergraduate and/or advanced degrees, this is not compulsory for
admission. Candidates who do not hold an undergraduate degree, but who have an excellent
career record, examination scores and leadership potential are also welcome to apply. All
those who will be completing their undergrad degree by May of the following year will be
eligible to apply.
Who are we looking for?

available opportunities to the best of their ability, is curious to learn new things,
remains open to opposing viewpoints and new ideas, and exhibits strong leadership
performance and potential.
Can applicants get a call back from Masters’ Union?
Given the volume of
requests, we’d
encourage students to reach out to the admissions team via email at admissions@mastersunion.org. If students would still like to
connect with us on call, reach out to our counselling team on WhatsApp using the following
link.
Can applicants defer their admission offer from Masters’ Union to the
next year?

not offering the option
to defer admission. Those who cannot join the programme in the current year are advised to
apply again next year.
Are all applicants interviewed?
Only candidates who
have been shortlisted
post their application submission will be invited for the personal interview.
Are any of the rounds more or less competitive than others?
Each round is equally competitive, with the same acceptance ratio across all rounds. The
most important factor is to dedicate sufficient time and effort into your application to
accurately showcase your strengths and talents.
However, applying in Round 1 offers several advantages:
-
Scholarships: If scholarships are a priority, we encourage applying in
Round 1.
-
Hostel Room Choice: Round 1 students get priority in selecting their
hostel rooms, ensuring they can choose from the best available options.
-
Notice Period: They have ample time to serve notice periods at their
current jobs.
-
Break Before Studies: They can take a well-deserved break before
starting 16 months of intensive study.
-
Loan and Funding: They have more time to apply for loans and arrange
funds.
Can applicants get their profile evaluated?
Feel free to
connect with the admissions
team to understand your fitment with the programme. While applicants are welcome to send
their CV to admissions@mastersunion.org for a preliminary conversation, due to a large
volume of requests, our responses might be delayed.
