Who can participate in Startup Weekend?
Startup Weekend is open to students from Grade 9–12 who are curious about entrepreneurship, innovation, and problem-solving. No prior experience is required, just enthusiasm and creativity!
Not at all! The event is designed to help you discover, brainstorm, and validate ideas during the sessions. You’ll be guided by mentors and masterclasses throughout the process.

Can I participate alone or do I need a team?
Both are welcome! Students can register solo and will be grouped into teams at the event, or they can register as part of a pre-formed team.
Do I need prior business or tech knowledge?
No. Startup Weekend is all about experiential learning. Our mentors and masterclasses will guide you through every step, from idea to pitch.
What is the schedule like?
It’s a two-day intensive program with sessions on ideation, product-market fit, consumer insights, and pitch deck building. Each day runs from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM with breaks for networking and lunch.
Is food provided during the event?
Yes, lunch is included in the program fee, and students also enjoy networking opportunities over meals.
Is accommodation available for outstation students?
Yes, accommodation is available on request at INR 3,000 per night. This is separate from the programme fee.
How much is the participation fee?
The fee is INR 4,999 per student for individual participation and INR 3,999 per student in a team of up to 4. This is inclusive of event participation, learning materials, mentorship, and lunch for both days.
Will participants receive a certificate?
Yes, all participants will receive a certificate of participation, and top teams will be recognized with awards and accolades during the closing ceremony.
