50% of the entire course is focused on fixing problems and challenges within your business. You will work privately with your own family business team, aided by professional facilitators, to identify challenges and goals, creating actionable plans tailored to your family enterprise.
How does the curriculum address the unique challenges faced by family business owners?
Each term, through the Family Business Lab Capstone Projects, you will tackle one critical area of your business - starting from finance, digital transformation, to acquisition, and 100-year succession plan. The programme also acknowledges the significance.
How do international and domestic immersions enhance the learning experience of participants?
Other than significantly expanding your network across Europe, China and rural India, these immersions will help you gain alternate perspectives on running and expanding your family business by observing global stalwarts.
What will be the batch size of the class?
We intend for this programme to be a small close knit community of 40-60 young family leaders.
Are the travel costs for all immersions covered in the cost of the programme?
The program fees include travel expenses for the rural trek. However, costs for other immersions, such as the INSEAD program and the Canton Fair in China, are optional and will need to be borne by the students.
What role does mentorship play in the overall learning experience of the programme?
Learners can expect 1:1 mentorship from experienced family business owners, consultants, and CXOs, who provide firsthand insights drawn from their experiences in balancing family dynamics with business innovation. Additionally, many of our mentors hold CXO positions in multinational corporations, equipping learners with global best practices and strategies that can be directly applied to elevate their family enterprises. This blend of personal and global expertise ensures a comprehensive understanding of both family and business leadership.
Is there a minimum requirement of work experience required to apply?
While we generally recommend applicants have at least 3 years of full-time work experience in their family business, we also consider exceptional candidates with less experience. If you have a strong track record and can demonstrate your ability to benefit from and contribute to the programme, we may be able to accommodate you. In case any applicant has lesser work experience, feel free to reach out to the admissions team who will evaluate their profile and advise accordingly.
Is there an age limit to entry?
There is no age limit for entry. However, the programme is more suitable for candidates with experience of 3 years or more. If they have less work experience, we encourage them to get in touch with the admissions team who will evaluate their profile and advise them accordingly.

Do we need to write a GMAT, GRE, or CAT to enrol in this programme?
No, this programme doesn’t require any test scores.
Are all candidates interviewed?
Post the application process, the shortlisted candidates are invited to an online interview with our admissions panel.
Can applicants get their profile evaluated?
Applicants are welcome to schedule a 1:1 session with our counsellors to discuss fitment with the programme based on their profile.
What is included in the cost of the programme?
The programme does not cover airfare or visa costs. It will however cover boarding, lodging and local travel during immersions. For outstation students, hotel accommodation during on-campus immersions will not be covered.
Are the fees refunded in case applicants decide to drop out of the programme?
