What should I expect from MasterCamp in Human Resource Management?

The MasterCamp in Human Resource Management is a 6-month Human Resource Management Programme that aims to develop a well-rounded HR professional with real-life assignments, projects, and simulations.

In these 6 months, you’ll learn through hands-on assignments about recruiting, onboarding, negotiating, formulating HR policies, building training programs, etc. You will also present your capstone projects to a panel of KPMG in India experts.

What should I NOT expect from MasterCamp in Human Resource Management?

The MasterCamp in Human Resource Management DOES NOT follow a conventional pedagogical approach solely based on theoretical knowledge. The curriculum is meticulously structured to enable hands-on learning through real-life projects, case studies, and apprenticeships.

Further, you SHOULD NOT expect a guaranteed job placement post the completion of the Programme.

What sort of learning would the MasterCamp provide?

In 6 months, you will get a thorough foundation in core HR skills and exposure to real-life complexities in HR with training on technologies and platforms like HRMS, LMS, ATS, PowerBI, LinkedIn, and Naukri.com.

Are we granted a certification upon the completion of the MasterCamp?

YES. At the end of the programme, you will be granted a Certificate of Completion - MasterCamp in Human Resource Management.

What does “Hybrid” teaching mode mean?

All the sessions in the MasterCamp in Human Resource Management are conducted live & online over Zoom.

To help the folks enrolled in the programme make the most out of their learning journeys - Masters’ Union will arrange for the students to attend the live sessions out of a coworking space across locations in India and the Masters’ Union campus in Gurugram provided there is a significant number of enrolled students in that location.

Yes - Participation in hands-on projects under the mentorship of KPMG in India’s experts will help you to become industry ready. It is mandatory because these projects contribute to a significant part of your total credits during the program and are crucial to providing you with real-life experience.

During the MasterCamp, students will receive assistance from the Career Services team at Masters’ Union and you will be able to track your career progression with a personalised plan.

You will also attend workshops on LinkedIn Profiling, Personal Branding, Interview Preparation, and Salary Negotiation to amp up for the placement drive.

You will have access to the B-School Placement Network and internal job portal throughout the programme to apply for jobs.

Does Masters’ Union or KPMG in India guarantee a job upon the completion of this programme?

No. Neither Masters’ Union nor KPMG in India take any responsibility for your placement in a full-time role or the conversion of the internship into a PPO upon the completion of this programme.

How will my doubts be addressed during the MasterCamp?

Since the MasterCamp is in a hybrid setting, your doubts can either be addressed during the online sessions or in-person meetups.

Additionally, you will also share a common forum with your batchmates for you to discuss your doubts or initiate a conversation with your peers.

What are the terms and conditions for the internship at KPMG in India?

Participants of the programme will be eligible to apply for paid internships in KPMG in India, subject to the following:

  • There is a business requirement for interns at KPMG in India.
  • Applicant is not employed in any other organization.
  • Applicant is successful in the internship selection process.
  • Selection process will include but will not be limited to the performance of the applicant in the programme
  • Applicant clears all risk approval processes at KPMG in India.

There will be limited paid internships and KPMG in India does not guarantee these internships for all eligible candidates.

Admission Criteria

Who can apply to the MasterCamp?

HR professionals with a bachelor’s degree in B.Com/BBA/BE/B.Sc/BA/MBA and a work experience of 2+ years

Non-HR professionals with an experience of at least 2 years across sectors like sales, IT, supply chain management, production/service operations, procurement, etc. The candidates must be keen to make a career switch to HR.

What is the admission process?

Admission to this programme is a 3-step process. The first step is the submission of the online application along with the required documents. Secondly, the shortlisted candidates will be required to go through an online interview. Finally, the selected candidates will be provided with an offer of admission to the program.

Is an interview necessary for admission and are all candidates interviewed?

Yes, even though this is an online program, interviews are an essential aspect of the admission process, as we want to expose you to an ace peer group. Upon submission of the online application, candidates will be evaluated by the Admissions Committee based on merit, and only shortlisted candidates will be invited for a personal interview.

What are the eligibility criteria?

You should have an undergraduate degree in any field (Commerce, Arts, Sciences, Engineering, Business Studies, Economics) with a minimum of 50% result.

My current role does not include exposure to Human Resources. Does it make sense for me to opt for this program?

Yes. This programme is targeted at preparing professionals who would like to move to a career in Human Resources.

The total programme fee of MasterCamp in Human Resource Management is INR 2,45,000/- + GST.

The application fee, admission fee, and tuition fee are all NON-REFUNDABLE.

Can I be awarded more than one scholarship?

No, a candidate is eligible for one scholarship only. It is noteworthy that scholarships are granted according to various criteria depending on factors like the candidate’s application, academic scores, work experience, if any, and performance in the interview.

Is there any deferral or refund policy for this program?

Currently, we are not offering the option to defer the admission offer. Those who cannot join the program during the current intake are advised to apply again for the next intake.
