Video Essay

  • Once you submit part 1 of the application and pay the application fees, you will have to submit your video within 7 days. Please note your video should be uploaded to Google drive and uploaded in part 2 of your application form. Kindly ensure that the video on Google drive is set to "Anyone with the link can view".

  • Video length: Please create a video that is no longer than two minutes in duration.

  • Hobbies: It would be helpful if applicants could pick interesting, unique points that will make them memorable for the admissions committee..

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an online interaction. This conversation allows us to understand the applicant better and gives candidates clarity on various aspects of the Executive PGP in AI Product Leadership. The interview would be taken by distinguished faculty members from academia and industry, along with representatives from the core team.

  • Your portfolio can include UI UX projects, visual design work, product case studies, research work, or exploratory concepts

  • We value clarity of thinking, process, and intent over polish alone

  • Record and submit a short video introducing yourself and your design journey

  • Share what you are genuinely passionate about in design and product building, why you want to pursue UI UX and product design now, why you should be selected for this programme, and how the programme aligns with your goals over the next 2 to 3 years.

Requirements

About the Interview

This is a portfolio-led conversation with faculty members and senior industry practitioners. You will walk us through one or two projects from your portfolio, explaining the problem, your process, key design decisions, and trade-offs.


The panel may ask how you approached research, how you prioritised flows, how you handled constraints like time, stakeholders, or incomplete information, and how you would collaborate with engineers and product managers in a real team. Expect a discussion that tests clarity of thinking, communication, and design judgment, not just visual polish.


Interview details including date, venue, and time are shared 3 to 5 days in advance.

  • The in-person business simulation will require candidates to role-play as a CXO of a company and solve its business challenges in a team of 5-6 applicants. The interview will be a 1-1 conversation with our faculty or senior leadership.

  • The in-person business simulation and interview will be conducted on the same day for a student. These will be scheduled across major cities in India, and over Zoom in exceptional cases.

After the evaluation, the Admissions Office will review the application again before presenting it to the Admissions Committee for the final decision. Candidates will be notified of the outcome of their application via email.

Accepted

  • Applicants who have been offered admission will receive their decision along with the financial structure and the timeline to confirm their seat through payment of the admission fee.

Waitlisted

  • Masters’ Union does not maintain a ranked waitlist. Applicants placed in this category will have their admission dependent on seats opening in the cohort. The admissions committee reviews the waitlist regularly and updates decisions as seats open.

Rejected

  • Applicants who are not offered admission are welcome to reapply with a stronger profile in a later round, if applicable, or in the next academic year.
