Masters’ Union UNMUTE 2026: Stages, Spotlights & a Room That Refused to Quiet Down

Some nights, a campus stops being a campus.

On 7th February 2026, Masters' Union Campus, nestled in Gurugram became the address every student wanted to be at. UNMUTE 2026 by Masters' Union's flagship festival took over every corner, every corridor, and every stage with an energy that built from the moment the doors opened and did not let up until the very end.

With 993 participants and 200+ college students from IITs, IIMs, NITs, & institutions across the country, all arriving with one intention: to compete hard, perform loud and make the night count.

Business challenges ran alongside cultural performances. Live acts shared the calendar with student-run stalls and creative showcases. The campus held all of it and the atmosphere matched every moment. UNMUTE is a celebration that could only happen here, inside a live corporate ecosystem where the setting raises the stakes and the students rise to meet them.

All About A Full-Day Immersive Experience

UNMUTE blended business acumen, cultural expression and creativity across 12 major events, including:

  1. Business Challenges: Pitch Perfect, CEO Challenge, Dalal Street, Midnight Crisis

  2. Cultural Events: Group Dance, Nukkad Naatak, Battle of Bands, Chess Tournament, Poker Tournament

  3. Artist Performances: Stand-up comedy by Gurleen Pannu and a Bolly-Punjabi DJ night by DJ Adi

  4. Student Innovation: Nine stalls featuring products like paper-based detergent sheets, unwrinkle sprays, lemon-mint iced tea and garlic-based dips

The festival gave students a unique chance to explore leadership, entrepreneurship, creativity and teamwork in a single, high-energy day.

UNMUTE’s Learning Curve: When the Classroom Isn’t the Whole Story

For many participants, UNMUTE was more than an event. It was a practical lesson in how businesses and teams operate in real environments.

  • Business Challenges tested strategy, critical thinking, and decision-making under pressure

  • Cultural Events taught collaboration, expression, and audience engagement

  • Student Stalls demonstrated the early-stage challenges of entrepreneurship from product development to customer interaction

  • Live Performances highlighted the importance of presentation, confidence, and connecting with an audience

Hosting the festival inside a live corporate campus emphasised that professional environments can be both challenging and inspiring.

Live Feedback from Industry Experts as Judges

Industry experts and alumni played a pivotal role in guiding participants:

  • Battle of Bands: Dev Saluja and Himangshu evaluated stage presence and musical cohesion

Students walked away with actionable insights they could immediately apply in academics, internships and entrepreneurial ventures.

International and Cross-Cultural Exchange

UNMUTE 2026 welcomed international participants from TETR college, many experiencing Indian cultural formats like street plays and group dances for the first time. They competed in business challenges, collaborated with Indian teams and brought a cross-cultural dimension that enriched the festival for all participants.

Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Action

Nine student-run stalls demonstrated how ideas turn into products. Highlights included:

  • Paper-based detergent sheets for eco-friendly cleaning

  • Unwrinkle sprays for quick wardrobe fixes

  • Lemon-mint iced tea and garlic-based dips for the food and beverage segment

These stalls showcased hands-on entrepreneurship, giving participants a glimpse into product-market fit, customer engagement and operational challenges.
