From Classroom to Cash Flow: How Masters’ Union Students Raised ₹15 Lakhs in a Single Day
February 11, 2025
At Masters’ Union, we firmly believe that the best way to learn is by doing. This philosophy is brought to life through the Dropshipping Challenge, a core component of our curriculum that immerses students in the real-world dynamics of building, scaling, and running a business. This year’s challenge was no exception, showcasing the entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, and business acumen of our students.
What is the Dropshipping Challenge?
The Dropshipping Challenge is a hands-on exercise where students create their own businesses from scratch. They are tasked with identifying the right product fit, developing a marketing strategy, negotiating with vendors, managing logistics, and ultimately generating revenue. The challenge is designed to simulate the end-to-end experience of running a business, equipping students with the skills needed to become future business leaders.
Key skills honed during the challenge include:
-
Product Selection: Identifying market demand and choosing the right product.
-
Marketing and Branding: Crafting compelling campaigns to attract customers.
-
Negotiation: Securing the best deals with vendors and suppliers.
-
Scaling Strategy: Growing the business sustainably.
-
Financial Acumen: Managing profitability and revenue generation.
This initiative is part of the First Pay Cheque Challenge (FPC), where first-year students earn their first income through various pathways, including professional internships, startups, dropshipping, and the Global Immersion Programme.
