The GenAI Hackathon in Filmmaking brings together storytellers, builders, and creators to explore what cinema looks like when AI is your entire crew.
You'll get one day, a theme revealed at the start, and forty eight hours to
build a Micro Film (minimum 90 seconds) made entirely with AI-generated visuals and audio. No actors. No
stock footage. No shortcuts - just your story, your tools, and your imagination.
The best films screen in front of the room at the end of the day. The best creators get discovered.
Register as an individual. Bring your team on the day - max 3 per team, everyone registers at the event separately.

Rules
& Regulations
Register individually. You may form teams of up to 3 members, provided everyone registers separately.
Your story must be anchored to at least one of the announced themes.
Koyal is the preferred tool for AI audio and video. You are free to use any software for the final edit.
Films must consist of 100% AI-generated audio and visuals only.
16:9 aspect ratio with a minimum duration of 90 seconds.
A title card is compulsory at the beginning, with participant names included in the credits at the end.
No copyrighted content, stock footage, or prior work is permitted.
No real humans—no direct references or resemblances to actual people.
Upload your film and complete the submission form by 3:00 PM.
